Viv Gordon is a Child Sex Abuse (CSA) Survivor Artist Activist. Her artistic practice centres on writing and performance as well as artistically directing co-produced projects with CSA survivors, sexual violence services and academics. Viv champions access and inclusion in the arts sector and wider culture for the CSA survivor community as well as artists and audiences with other trauma histories and mental health needs. She speaks at conferences and events and delivers training, mentoring and consultancy with individuals and organisations nationally. Viv is employed part time by Strike A Light, on their ‘Let Artists be Artists' programme.

About the Role
This role is to support Viv with all the administration of her work. It is a hybrid position with some remote work. On average one day a week in person in Bristol, local travel on an ad hoc basis and occasional national travel required. At the start of the role during the onboarding process, the in person working required may be more than 1 day a week, up to the full 15 hours where needed. The role sits alongside other access PA roles that support Viv in rehearsals, performances and when presenting at conferences and trainings.

- Assisting Viv in prioritising and actioning tasks

- Organising and booking accessible travel and accommodation
- Booking other PA’s for rehearsal, performance, conferences etc

Person Specification
Viv is looking for a PA who can demonstrate the following:
Essential:
- Experience of PA and/or administration work
- Exceptional administration and organisational skills
- Basic Bookkeeping skills e.g. sending invoices and logging expenses receipts
- Confidence using GDrive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence making and receiving phone calls on behalf of Viv
- Confidence receiving whatsapp voice notes as a preferred method of communication for Viv - including transcribing voice messages into draft emails or documents
- Person-centred approach that centres access for Viv as well as collaborators and community
- Ability to respond and adapt to changing schedules and priorities
- Ability to work efficiently in a high paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Setting up and managing Zoom meetings and training sessions
- Interest in working in a CSA Survivor Arts Activist space
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information respectfully.

The Role
We are looking for a Training and Development Coordinator to join us, who has strong communication skills and excellent organisational ability. You may have experience in coordinating a training programme or developing business leads for ongoing training or sales opportunities. You may have a background in arts and/or mental health or experience working in the sexual violence sector, therapy or counselling.
You will help Viv Gordon Company to develop, market and sell existing training centred around An ABC of CSA and recruit, support and coordinate a small team of trainers. Reporting to (and with the support of) the company’s Executive Producer, this will include:

The Role

- Develop contacts and leads for training bookings via email, phone calls and relevant networking events

- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and coordinate distribution to relevant parties
- Plan & coordinate the train the trainers session with VGC
- Help recruit trainers
- Coordinate the trainers going to their delivery sessions inc. any access support requirements
- Be the main point of contact for trainers and clients when delivering their training sessions
- Get feedback from clients and implement changes with VGC where required
- Implement & coordinate evaluation of the training
- Follow finance processes
- Follow company access needs
- Any other duties that reasonably fall within the role
About You
